School is often overwhelming.

The struggles of academic success, extracurricular activities, and expectations from parents, friends, coaches and teachers can cause unhealthy amounts of stress.

In addition, students may also face stress due to drugs, gangs, bullies, personal identity questions and social anxiety. Finally, some students experience trouble at home that affects their ability to concentrate, excel, or keep up. MAP is a safe place to find help.

When it all seems overwhelming, please know there are people standing by. A number of community outreach programs have been put into place specifically to offer a safe place for students.

In an emergency please call Connections Individual and Family Services: 1-800-532-8192
